Welcome to my page.

My name is Bryony pronounced (Brian with a E), the face behind dux till dawn photography. Let me tell you a little bit about myself… look its a tad lengthy so buckle in and enjoy the ride

I have always been a creative person. I’m constantly playing scenes and scenarios in my mind, living life with a constant soundtrack playing through my head. I love to observe everything around me and always have…what my parents call an overactive imagination.

I always thought everyone must think like me. But then I thought wait…no one can see life the exact way I do, or thinks the exact way I think… so I started channeling my creativity into something I could physically see. This is where my love of storytelling started.

I believe photography is evolving so much. Connection isn’t about looking at a camera and smiling. It’s about looking into your partner’s eyes and seeing love you cannot fathom. It’s about holding onto your baby’s tiny toes and wondering how could anything be this small and perfect? It’s a child being free to be themselves and go on an adventure. Because the things that we take for granted and forget to grasp so tight… they are the things that change the fastest and they leave us much too soon.

So what do we do? We capture it all… remember it all. See the photo, close your eyes and feel the little sandy hand on your cheek, the tiny hand wrapped around your finger, the feeling of the person you love brushing the hair from your kneck and kissing your shoulder.

Do I romanticise life a little? YES. I read a lot of books!!!! I just FEEL so much!!!! But thats what makes my work different than others. I really wouldn’t want it any other way. I love this job and I pour my heart and soul into my work. I feel very honoured being a chapter in anyone’s story.

So yes I am passionate about telling YOUR story and I know if you put your trust in my art, we can make beautiful memories together.
